RECREATION FACILITIES Local recreation facilities include a community hall, curling rink, skating rink, baseball diamonds, walking trail, seniors' drop-in center, Legion Hall & Lounge, nine hole golf course and a fully serviced campground (with water, sewer, power, showers, and recreation area). Municipal support services includes Handi Van Service and Home Care nursing, Senior's Drop-in Center and Family Support services through F.C.S.S.

Elnora is part of the
Chinook's Edge Regional Division #5, headquarters in Innisfail.
Educational services include Elnora School, which provides
education for grades K to 9. Senior high school students are bussed
to Delburne Centralized School (1-12). There is also a playschool
program.
Red Deer College and Olds Agricultural College are within commuting distance from Elnora. Red Deer College offers a wide variety of certificate, diploma and university transfer courses, while Olds College specializes in agriculture.

St. Mary's Health Care Center in Trochu has doctors on staff five
days per week. Full Hospital facilities are available in Red Deer
and Three Hills.
Elnora's former 10 bed Prototypical Hospital building is currently being utililzed as Elnora Community Health Centre. This building is housing many health services for residents or Elnora and area, such as: Home Care, Public Health Nurse, Physiotherapy and Lab Services.

Elnora has a 24 member volunteer fire force with 2 pumper trucks, a
rescue bus and a 4-bay fire hall. We are serviced by the Three Hills
detachment of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and our ambulance
service is provided from Innisfail through Guardian Ambulance . |
