The
Recycle Trailer takes newsprint (in one bin), glossy
paper, phone books and pocketbooks in a separate bin.
Please sort your paper into the following 3 categories/bins

Newsprint- newspaper and flyers
-
High grade paper- printer paper and envelopes

Glossy- magazines, phonebooks, catalogues, books
Also, recycle your cardboard, glass, tin, and #2 plastic. There are also containers available for recycling milk jugs and cartons. There is a small cash box under the gooseneck of the trailer and we ask that people put in money based on the size and weight of their load. (at least $2 for small amounts). Thank you!
ELNORA PUBLIC LIBRARY
Just a reminder - there are 4 Public Computers and 1 Cataloguing Computer (to find and request books)
available at the Library.
The Elnora Library has a lot of info you may be interested in. They received a large donation of Gardening books, so come and check them out. Travel books have also been donated by Warner and Emilie Aeyelts. The shelf for new books is packed full. If anyone (especially Teens) has trouble browsing through the books, just ask Wanda or any of her helpers for help. The Summer Reading Club (SRC) will start in July. Watch for details. The Theme this year is LOL (Laughing out Loud) or RTF LOL(Rolling on the floor Laughing out Loud). This program is targeting ages 6 - 8. It is also for preschool and 8 - 12 year olds.
The Teen Reading Club runs all year and prizes include a video camcorder, DVDs, and movie tie-in books plus more. Go to
www.teensrc.ca for more info. This is a year round program through this web site. Elnora teens have won prizes during the last 2 winters. The more reports on books read you do on this web site, the more chances to win!The movie collection has doubled in adult, junior and family movies which have also been donated.
Wanda went to a Library Conference in Red Deer on May 26th & 27th so watch for some new ideas!
The Graphic Novels are lonely - come and get them. The Teen Manga Magazine has 8 Mangas (Japanese Cartoons) inside.
